Nishka Commerce Festival

The word Nishka, which derives from the oldest coin, has not only historical significance but symbolizes progress and evolution. Nishka provides the students of the enterprising and promising field of commerce, an opportunity to exhibit their talents.

Library Week

Books are invaluable treasures. The treasure hunt of knowledge opens in ISB as the Library week. Hundreds of students and parents scan new books and acquaint themselves with it. The sight of a good book compels one to buy, chew and digest it. The Book week is a land of unlimited opportunity in the treasure hunt of knowledge.

ECO Summit

ISB has a commitment to society. The Eco awareness and Eco summit in ISB ensures our commitment. Transformation comes with awareness. ISB Eco warriors spread the message green with the help of environmentalists in Bahrain and various Government agencies. The student ambassadors spread the message of a clean and green environment. We Care because We Care!!

Young Speakers Forum

It is the perfect setting to be trained as a professional speaker. The challenge, the uncertainty brings out the very best and the Young Speakers Forum trains young minds to excel as speakers

La Matinée Française French Day

It is an inter school competition of various CBSE schools in Bahrain where French is taught. Various competitions such as Poster making, French poem recitation, Speaking in French on a selected topic, Quiz on France are organised. The participating schools conduct preliminaries in their school. Twenty eight of the selected students participate in the finals at the Indian School Bahrain. The winners were awarded cups and certificates at the end of the function. Other than the competition section there are also songs in French presented by the Indian School's . The judges come from the Embassy of France and The Alliance Française de Bahreïn.

Model United Nations

Model United Nations is a program which provides students an opportunity to apply their unique individual abilities in a dynamic and exciting forum that emphasizes problem solving skill, diplomacy and global understanding. The Bahrain Model United Nations (BAHMUN) program was started in 1995 under the auspices of the Rotary Club of Adliya. The Indian School plays the key role in its orchestration. The students chair sessions in General Assembly, Economic and Social Council, Human Rights and in Security Council. Students undergo a rigorous selection and training process before they represent the school as Delegates and Press Corps. The School also participates in Cairo Model United Nations (CACMUN), in Egypt . It simulates lively debates and multi- cultural interactions. Year long Mini MUN programs and the interaction with other schools give the right exposure for students to develop good inter-personal skills that are assets for their future life.

ISB International Career Exhibition

The ISB International Career Expo offers our students a peep into the multiple opportunities of choice to pick their careers from. It is an annual affair where reputed Universities and Colleges from all over the world come to our campus and interacts with the students.It provides a forum for the students and parents to communicate with the representatives of the participating colleges and universities.

The Indian School Youth Festival

The Indian School Youth Festival is one of the prestigious events under the Indian School banner. A competitive environment is created where every student is given a platform to excel. This youth festival encourages participation. The four houses into which the students are divided compete with each other for the coveted rolling trophy. The youth festival is a blend of academic and non-academic activities.

Technofest

Technofest is the Annual Science Exhibition Competition for classes VI to XII. The exhibition displays live models made by the students. Every class participates in the exhibition and the best exhibit is selected.

Book Week

The annual Book week conducted by the library is a much awaited event in the school. Various publishing houses display their books covering different subjects of interest. Almost 30000 books are on display during a week. Students are in for a Book Treat during this week. Novices are initiated into the art of reading through the book week. A variety of competitions are also held during the week.

Annual Day

Annual Days for both Sitra and Isa town campus are held separately. A variety of cultural programs are held. The emphasis is to bring out the talents of students and have a colorful display.

Hindi Divas

The national language of India is the language of integration. Hindi Divas is celebrated to renew our bond with Hindi and encourage children to learn and use it as a powerful tool of communication in India. Various competitions and cultural programs mark the occasion.

Maths Day

The Maths Day is held in memory of the great mathematician Ramanujan. A special lecture is held on the day on a subject related to maths by a mathematician. The school hosts a quiz competition based on mathematics.

Annual Sports Day

The Annual Sports day is the perfect display of colour and talent. March past by the Students Council, Houses and the school band mark the occasion. Colorful display of yoga, gymnastics, pom pom drill and aerobics add glitter to the event. The athletes sweat it out on the special track created for the purpose. It is a treat to watch the sports from the pavilion as a spectator. The school has produced some of the best national level athletes.

Riffa campus activities

The Riffa campus of the tiny tots is the hub of activities. A colorful display throughout the year with celebrations of Red day, Blue Day and Yellow Day enthuse the tiny ones.A Health week spreads the message of health and create an awareness right from the childhood. A variety of academic and non-academic activities are infused into mainstream teaching.
