French Day

The Indian school, Kingdom of Bahrain From the Dept. of French Press Release on “La Matinée Française 2015-16” (French Day) On Tuesday 12 January 2016, the “French Day” was celebrated in the presence of the esteemed Guest, Mrs. Leïla De Casimacker, Chargée de mission universitaire, scientifique et culturelle, Responsable Campus France in French Embassy Phase I had been organised by the French Dept. of the Indian School, Bahrain, on Thursday 7 January 2016. It was an Inter-School Competition of various CBSE Schools in Bahrain. On that day, 50 students from different schools like The New Millennium School, The New Indian School, The Asian School, Al Noor International School and The Indian School participated in Pencil Drawing and Poster Making Competitions. Phase II had been organised by the French Dept. of the Indian School today (12 January 2016-Tuesday) between 8.30 am to 11.30pm. Today, around 15 students took part in Poem Recitation and Poster Making Inter-School Competitions and around 75 students of different schools performed group dances and sung in French.
