ISB Tarang 2017 Finale

ISB Tarang 2017 Finale today (Thursday) Aryabhata and JC Bose Houses lead Manama: On the fifth day of the Indian School Bahrain (ISB) Youth Festival Tarang 2017 on Wednesday participants in Western Dance captivated the audience with a vibrant and colourful Cinematic Dance. Aryabhata House and JC Bose House are the top contenders for the overall championship which will be declared today (Thursday) at a glittering Grand Finale to be held at the Jashanmal auditorium in Isa Town. Aryabhata House is dominating the Annual Inter-house Talent Show with 1086 points on the fifth day. JC Bose House is on the second place with 1064 points. On the third place is CV Raman House which has got 1049 points while Vikram Sarabhai House is on fourth place with 1021 points. The first prize in Bharatanatyam -B Level was won by Malavika Suresh Kumar of Aryabhata House. The second and third prizes were won by Malavika Ajith and Varsha Satheesh Kumar respectively both of whom belong to CV Raman House. In Cinematic Dance -A Level the first prize was won by Team 1 of CV Raman House. The second and third prizes were won by Team 1 of Vikram Sarabhai House and Team 1 of JC Bose House respectively. In Cinematic Dance-D Level the first prize was won by Team 2 of JC Bose House while the second and third prizes were bagged by Team 1 of CV Raman House and Team 1 of JC Bose House respectively. The Tarang 2017 is the biggest School Youth Festival in the Gulf countries, with the participation of over 3000 students in 126 events . Some of the Prize-winning items will be staged during the Grand Finale . The participants scoring maximum points in stage and non-stage events will be awarded the prestigious Kalashri and Kalathilakam awards at the Grand Finale. Individual Prizes will be distributed during the Grand Finale and prize winners should report to the assigned rooms in the Tagore Block at 5.15pm on Thursday.
