ISB honours badminton gold winner Sanjay Jaimy The Indian School Bahrain (ISB) has felicitated Sanjay Jaimy who won gold medal in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) National Badminton Championship. Sanjay Jaimy, a class XII student of the Indian School won Under 19 Badminton Singes Championship, which was conducted in the Indian state of Rajasthan. ISB Chairman Prince S Natarajan presented a memento to Sanjay Jaimy in the presence of ISB Hon. Assistant General Secretary Dr C G Manoj Kumar, EC Members Jayafar Maidani (Sports),Mohammed Khursheed Alam(Academics), Saji Antony(IT) , Principal VR Palaniswamy, Riffa campus Principal Sudhir Krishnan, Staff Representative Priya Laji, vice principals and teachers. Sajay Jamiy’s father Jaimy V John, mother Sindhu Thomas(ISB), brother Ajay Jaimy and Coach CM Junith were also present. This is the first time that a student from the Gulf countries wins gold in Under 19 Badminton Boys singles category. The first prize, a Mitsubishi car sponsored by Zayani Motors was handed over to the winner N Janardhanan Pillai by Zayani Motors General Manager Muhammed Zaki. ISB Chairman Prince S Natarajn, Mega Fair General Convener Mohammed Hussain Malim, ISB Hon. Assistant General Secretary Dr C G Manoj Kumar, EC Members Jayafar Maidani (Sports),Mohammed Khursheed Alam(Academics), Saji Antony(IT) , Principal VR Palaniswamy, Riffa campus Principal Sudhir Krishnan, Staff Representative Priya Laji, vice principals, teachers and fair conveners and coordinators were present. The other winners were Virendra Pal, Aneena, Jahandad Ahmed, Leena Sathish, Fathima Saffarulla, Adila Isha, Varghese P Tharian,Suzanne L Aabalorio and Roshini.
