The Indian School Felicitates IV and V Section Toppers

 The Indian School Bahrain (ISB) celebrated the outstanding academic achievements of its IV and V section students during the academic year 2023-2024. The vibrant Academic Award Ceremony, held at the Isa Town Campus on Thursday, was a testament to the dedication and hard work exhibited by around 390 students in grades IV and V. These students were honored for their exceptional academic performances with certificates, marking a significant milestone in their educational journey. The ceremony commenced with the esteemed Chief Guest, BKG Holding SPC & Qatar Engineering Laboratories Chairman, KG Baburajan, inaugurating the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp. Among the dignitaries present were ISB Honorary Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese, Honorary Secretary V. Rajapandian, Honorary Vice-Chairman Dr. Mohammed Faizal, Honorary Assistant Secretary Ranjini Mohan, as well as Executive Committee Members Bonny Joseph(Finance & IT), Mithun Mohan ( Projects & Maintenance), Biju George, Mohammad Nayaz Ullah, Principal VR  PalaniswamyJunior Wing Principal Pamela Xavier,Staff Representative Parvathi Devadas, Vice- Principals, Head Teachers and staff members.  
In his presidential address, Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese applauded the award-winning students for their dedication and hard work, which led to their remarkable achievements. He also highlighted the school's progress, including the acquisition of new buses for transportation and the successful implementation of an online fee payment system. Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese expressed gratitude to the parents for their support and presented a token of appreciation to the Chief Guest. Earlier 
Principal VR Palaniswamy extended a warm welcome to the attendees and congratulated the students for their consistent academic excellence over the years. He emphasized the importance of maintaining this level of dedication with the continued support of parents and teachers.The vote of thanks was delivered by Honorary Secretary V. Rajapandian, who commended the students for their diligence and preparation, which culminated in their success. The masters of ceremony, Alvin Kunniparambath, Blesswin Brawin, and Evani Rose Bensan, did  their outstanding work in hosting the event.
The  highlight of the ceremony was the variety of cultural programmes performed by the students, centered around the theme 'Caring for Earth, Caring for You.' These performances received widespread acclaim from the audience, showcasing the students' talents and dedication. The event commenced with the National Anthems of Bahrain and India, followed by verses from the Holy Quran and the school prayer, maintaining a solemn atmosphere.The distribution of A1 awards to deserving students by the Chief Guest and school officials marked the culmination of the event, leaving a lasting impression of celebration and achievement within the ISB community. The meticulous preparation and enthusiastic participation of the teachers contributed to making the event truly exceptional.
