Inaugurated Entrance Coaching Programme

The Indian School inaugurated its Entrance Coaching Programme, a preparatory course for its students aspiring to get admission for professional courses in India or abroad. The coaching program was officially approved by the Ministry of Education, Kingdom of Bahrain. H.E. Dr. Abdul Ghani Saleh Al Shuwaikh, the Asst. Under-Secretary of Ministry of Education, inaugurated the Entrance Coaching Program titled "ISB Entrance Academy" on 18 April 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Jashanmal Auditorium, Isa Town. The program aims at coaching the students of science and commerce streams who are seeking to take All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT), Joint Engineering Exam (JEE) or Common Proficiency Test (CPT). Hon. Secretary Dr. Shemily P John, Principal Mr. V R Palaniswamy, Hon. Member Academics Mr. Khursheed Alam, Hon. Member Sports Mr. Jayafar Maidani, staff representative Mrs. Priya Laji, Entrance Coaching programme Coordinator Mr. Sudipto Sengupta, Vice-Principals and students were present in the inaugural function. The program consists of foundation course intended for IX and X Graders and advanced course for XI and XII Graders and well qualified and experienced faculty will be specially recruited for coaching the selected students along with internal resources. Admission to Higher Education in the prestigious institutions of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and National Institute of Information and Technology (NIIT and this Entrance Coaching Program was much needed course for the senior students on the Island. Hon. Secretary, Dr. Shemily P John addressed the students, the school Principal V R Palaniswamy welcomed the gathering on the occasion and expressed gratitude towards the Ministry of Education for granting the approval for the programme. The students of the Middle Section presented a traditional Arabic dance and a patriotic group song. Vice Principal of the Middle Section, Mr. Vinod proposed vote of thanks.
