International Yoga Day Celebration In ISB

International Yoga Day Celebrated in The Indian School Press Report June 21, 2016 The Indian School celebrated the International Yoga Day under the patronage of the Embassy of India. Dr. Bhagwati Prasad Sharma Vice-Chancellor of the Pacific University, Rajasthan was the Chief Guest of the event. Mr. Anand Prakash, Second Secretary Embassy of India to the Kingdom of Bahrain was the Guest of Honour. The message of the Prime Minister of India was also displayed to the students. The Chief Guest Dr. Bhagwati Prasad Sharma addressed the students and said that yoga can help students in developing their overall personality. Mr. Anand Prakash in his address congratulated the students and the school for celebrating the International Yoga Day. Students who volunteered to participate in the display presented an excellent display of different yoga postures. The programme was attended by the Embassy officials, Hon. Asst. Secretary of the Executive Committee Dr.Manoj Kumar, Hon. Member Transport & Discipline Mr. Bhupinder Singh, Principal Mr. V R Palaniswamy, Vice-Principals, staff and students. The solemn function was conducted and coordinated by the students of the school guided by the Physical Education department. The Yoga instructor of the school Mr Chinnasamy trained the students.
