Hindi Workshop at the Indian School , Bahrain As a part of the Train the trainers programme, a Hindi workshop was conducted in the Jashanmal Auditorium of the Indian School for Hindi language teachers of CBSE schools in Bahrain. The workshop was organized by the Indian School on behalf of the Principal’s forum CBSE Gulf Council Bahrian chapter and sponsored by Saraswati Publications. The resource person Dr. Vinod Singh Chauhan; an established trainer from India conducted the workshop. Dr. Chauhan spoke on the transition Hindi language is subject to and the new methodologies that have come in the teaching of Hindi. He spoke about the technical aspects of the language that is undergoing a change and how to adapt to it. The Head of Department of Hindi in the Indian School, Mr. Ibadur Rahman welcomed the gathering. The Principal of ISB and the CBSE Gulf Council Bahrain Chapter Convenor Mr. V R Palaniswamy in his address said that this is the initiative for continuous upgradation and improvement. He added that there will be many such workshops in the future so that teachers can equip themselves with all the latest developments in the subject. In his address the Hon. Chairman Mr. Prince S Natarajan lauded the initiatives and expressed happiness at the workshop where skills can be upgraded. The Hon. Secretary Dr. Shemily P John said that the simplicity of the language is in the easiness at which it has been spoken and Hindi is one such language. The participants were thrilled at the learning that took place in the workshop. “It was value addition to all of us and we look forward to many such more in the future” expressed a participant. Certificates were distributed to the participants by the trainer Dr. Vinod Singh Chauhan in the presence of the Hon. Chairman Mr. Prince S Natarajan, Hon. Secretary Dr. Shemily P John, Hon. Member IT Mr. Saji Anthony, Hon. Member Sports Mr. Jayafar Maidani, Principal Mr. V R Palaniswamy and staff.
