ISB Students Explore the Spirit of Entrepreneurship

 Students came up with innovative business ideas in the one day workshop organized by INJAZ Bahrain in association with the Indian School Bahrain(ISB). The Innovation Camp was an exciting workshop that challenged students to find innovative solutions to a real business challenge using creativity, thinking outside the box, and teamwork. The students were divided into teams that competed against each other through a set of educational activities and recreational games. They were  given a business challenge to which they proposed a solution within a very limited time.   The workshop was delivered by trained corporate volunteers from the private sector.  At the end of the workshop students  prepared a business plan and presented  their idea to a panel of judges. The panel of judges consisted of Ahmed Shukri (ALBA), Vivek Gupta (KHCB) and Anas Abdulla Muhammed (YK Almoayyed). The students were guided by a team of mentors. The mentors were Maitham Alfardan (YK AlMoayyed), Sayed Hashim Saeed (YK Almoayyed),Prachur Shukla(ALBA),Fatema Abdulrasool Ahmed(ALBA),Abdulrahman Almulla(ALBA),Dr. Uneb Gazder(UoB), Yusuf Tareq Mohamed Amin(Banagas), and Monika Mehrotra. Hesham Juma (ALBA), Marketing Expert  Hussain Mahmood Abdulla(YK Almoayyed ) were the facilitators.  

First Prize Winners:
Team 8  led by Tanya Suresh and Hussain Shaker who presented an online shopping app  won the first prize for their innovation. The other members of the team were Christy Saly Thomas, Fidha Fathima, Shaikh Shami, Saidas,Sania Sara Saji, Hafsa, Harshida Chodoparabil,Mohammed Sulaith,Pankaj Kumar,Thaksan Shivasothiy,Sara Riyaz,Ridhi Dahal and Youssef Mostafa.

Second Prize Winners:
Team 5 led by Rithika, Muzainah and Zainab won the second prize. The other members: Saud,Afreen,Fena,Danial,Bilal,Redha,Ridha,Meera,Leya,Isaac,Rameshwari,Mahir,Aravind,Joshua and Shawn.

Third Prize Winners:
Team 2  led by Misna Vali Parambil and Jithu Jayakumar won the third prize. Members: Esha Ashutosh Mairal,Athira Iyyani Bijoy, Zainab Shaik  Abdul  Salam,Samaira,Nandika Liteshkumar,Mudikula Suriya, Shana Yasmine,Sonal John,Saad Mubeen,Shimaz Basheer,Adarsh Paradeep,Pankaj  Kumar,Navjot Singh,Deva Krisha Sujith,Sayuri and Thanusree Shijith.

ISB Hon.Chairman Prince S Natarajan,Hon.Secretary Saji Antony and Principal VR Palaniswamy thanked INJAZ Bahrain for giving the students an opportunity   to foster understanding of the world of work and the spirit of entrepreneurship through the principle of learning by doing.
