The Indian School celebrated the Staff Club Day on 21 March 2015 to give away long service awards to the staff.  The staff who have completed 10, 15, 20, 25 & 30 years of service in the school have been honoured with a memento, certificate and a cash award by the Hon. Chairman Mr. Prince S Natarajan and Principal Mr. V R Palaniswamy in the presence of the Executive Committee Members. 

 

Students who had made the Indian School proud by participating in the competitions abroad and brought laurels have also been felicitated on this occasion. 

 

Secretary of the Staff Club Mrs. Sreelatha Rajendran welcomed the gathering.  She said that the staff club consists of about 600 members and expressed satisfaction in discharging her duties with the co-operation of everyone.  Principal and President of the Staff Club, Mr. V R Palaniswamy in his Presidential Address said that the success of the Indian School is the dedicated service of the staff and especially of the staff who have been in service in the school for long years.  He congratulated and appreciated the staff for having given their 50 per cent; 25 per cent and so on of their life time in the service for the institution.

 

Hon. Chairman Mr. Prince S Natarajan said that he congratulates the staff for their dedication and loyal service to the ISB.  He urged the Staff Club to come out with innovative ideas that could benefit the staff and students.  He also said that the constitution for Staff Club has to be written.  The Hon. Vice Chairman Mr. Muhammed Iqubal in his congratulatory message said that the teachers are behind the success of the students as they support and encourage them whole-heartedly.  Hon. Secretary Dr. Shemily P John praised the work of the staff and told that the students have to be ever grateful to their teachers.  Hon. Member – Discipline and Transport Mr. Bhupinder Singh said that everyone owes their position to their teachers who have made them what they are now.  Hon. Member & Staff Representative Mrs. Priya Laji told that the Staff Club should plan for an outing for the staff after the hectic result preparation.

 

The function was also attended by Hon. Asst. Secretary & Member – Academics Dr. Manoj Kumar; Hon. Member – IT Mr. Saji Antony, Hon. Member Mr. Jayfar, invited guests, staff and students.  Mrs. Leela Vyas, Assistant Secretary, Staff Club proposed the Vote of Thanks.
