V R Palaniswamy

A teacher of high repute VR Palaniswamy has more than 35 years of experience in teaching Mathematics and training Mathematics teachers. He is a recipient of the National Award to Teachers for the year 2011 from the President of India and the CBSE National Teacher Award for the year 2007, which is instituted by the Union Ministry of HRD, Government of India. In addition to teaching experience, he has 25 years of administrative experience at various capacities like HOD, Vice-Principal and Principal. He is a postgraduate in Mathematics and Science Education and holds an M.Phil. degree in Education. Mr. Palaniswamy is an alumnus of The Regional Institute of Education, Mysore which is a unit of NCERT. He has authored 17 textbooks in Mathematics for classes from I to XII, published by the leading publishers. He was the team leader for the production and publication of interactive CDs in Mathematics for Primary and Middle school children. He served as a resource person for the Educational Television Program of Doordarshan Kendra, Chennai and anchored many Educational and Medical programmes for Doordarshan. He has successfully completed the QMS Internal Auditor Course for ISO 9001: 2000 and ISO 9001: 2008. He is the Management Representative (MR) for the Quality Management System of the school for ISO 9001: 2008. He is also the recipient of the Best Teacher Award from the Lions Club of Madras, Teynampet for the year 1999 and from the Madras Metropolitan chapter of Y's Men International Club for the year 2000. He is a member of the American Mathematical Society. Mr. Palaniswamy served as Secretary of CBSE Gulf Sahodaya during 2021-2022 and he was the Chairman of CBSE Gulf Council during 2022-2023.

She is a specialist in Kindergarten and Primary Education spanning 3 decades, 20 years have been with GEMS Education, the largest provider of Education in the UAE; of which a decade at Senior Leadership positions. A topper and gold medalist at the graduate level in Psychology, she has a Bachelor's degree in Education and a first class in MBA - Education Management.

She has been a recipient of the Teacher of the Year award from GEMS, Dubai in 1996 and 2006. She is an accredited Teacher Trainer and has conducted several workshops for teachers in UAE, Bahrain and India. She has headed Parental Engagement programmes, been a panel member of School Review teams and has been instrumental in strengthening curricular practices of Everonn Public Schools, India. She has been part of the VGF Pratham "It's Good to Talk" programme; an initiative to train rural teachers in India in spoken English. Pamela is a qualified French teacher. She is also a trained pianist and has scripted and directed many theatrical productions for children, in addition to the recording and audio release of 'The KGS Learning Tune' - a collection of songs for kindergartners.

Mr. G Satheesh is an accomplished educator who presently serves as Vice-Principal of the Senior School and Academics Administration. He has a postgraduate degree in mathematics and a B. Ed from Mahatma Gandhi University in Kerala, India. With a strong educational background, he formerly worked as a teacher at the famed Sainik School in Kazhakoottam, Trivandrum, Kerala, honing his instructional talents.

His experience extends beyond the classroom, as he has made important contributions to educational growth as a trainer for SCERT (State Council for Educational Research and Training) in Kerala. During his time as Academic Coordinator at The Indian School, he demonstrated his dedication to innovation by driving dramatic improvements in academic coordination.

Mr. G Satheesh is well-known for his enthusiasm for mathematics, as seen by his 33 years of teaching senior students. His significant expertise in school administration demonstrates his commitment to the profession. Furthermore, he is a passionate reader, particularly of Malayalam literature and classics, demonstrating his intellectual depth and cultural understanding.

Jose Thomas, Vice-Principal for the Middle Section at the Indian School Isa Town Campus, brings a wealth of experience of more than 25 years of dedicated teaching of which 17 years has been with the institution.
