Indian School Wins First Prize for the Best Display of Art in the School Garden
The Indian School Bahrain(ISB) has won the first prize for ‘the best display of art in the school garden’ competition held in connection with the Annual Flower and Vegetable Show 2022 organised by the Bahrain Garden Club. In this category, students were asked to make mosaic artwork in the school garden. The ISB students made mosaic artwork of Bahrain national animal Arabian Oryx, Indian national animal Bengal Tiger and artwork on trees in the school garden at Isa Town campus under the guidance of art teacher Deepak Ambala Parambath. The winning team consists of Deepanshu Nayak( VII-W), Sandra Syam(VI-Q), Tridev Karun(VI-E), Asita Jayakumar(VIII -S), Dhanashyam(VII-N), Pranshu Saini(VI-B), Ayush K.A (IV- A), Sachitt Pillewar(IV-T), Agnel Prince Lobo(IV-U), Harneet Kaur (V-S). The ISB is getting the first prize for the third time consecutively. On behalf of the ISB, Head Teacher Paravathi Devdas received the trophy during the Bahrain Garden club’s 56th prize distribution ceremony held at the Gulf Hotel Al Dana Hall. National Initiative for Agricultural Development( NIAD) Secretary-General Shaikha Maram bint Isa Al Khalifa presented the trophies to winners in the presence of Riffa Views director of finances & administration Abdul Rahim Haji. ISB Hon. Chairman Prince S Natarajan, Hon. Secretary Saji Antony and Principal VR Palaniswamy congratulated the students and teachers for bringing laurels to the school.
