ISB Holds Cubs and Bulbul Training Camp
The Indian School Bahrain (ISB) organized the Annual Training Camp of the Cubs and Bulbuls at the Riffa Campus on Saturday, 18 February 2023. ISB Hon. Chairman Prince S. Natarajan, Executive Committee(EC) Member Mohammed Nayaz Ullah, Principal VR Palaniswamy, Riffa campus Principal Pamela Xavier and Vice-Principal Vinod S attended the ceremony. The annual camp aims to inculcate practical knowledge of life skills among students and to enhance their overall development. More than 110 Cubs and Bulbuls attended the camp. They actively participated in various activities like craft works, reef knot, clove hitch, camp games, camp fire etc. They also learned how to take care of themselves by following healthy habits. The camp prepared the boys and girls to take up bigger tasks in scouting and guiding and also added vigour to their mental and physical growth. Children learned to be independent and to live life in a disciplined manner. The camp was conducted by a team of 16 teachers, 20 Scouts and Guides volunteers under the leadership of the Camp Chief Chinnasamy R. The students participated in the camp with excitement and enthusiasm. Certificates, Best Cub and Best Bulbul award, Best Sixes in Cubs and Bulbuls award and gifts were distributed to the participants at the end of the training camp.
