The Indian School Felicitates Middle Section Toppers in Award Ceremony

 The Indian School Bahrain (ISB) Middle Section celebrated the Academic Award Ceremony for the year 2023-2024 at the Isa Town Campus on Thursday. In a glittering ceremony, around 350 students of grades VI-VIII were honoured for their brilliant academic performance during the previous academic year.   Chief Guest Ms. Reem Abodh Al Sanaei, Director of Risk Assessment and Legal Affairs,MoE inaugurated the ceremony by lighting the lamp in the presence of ISB Hon. Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese, Hon.Secretary V Rajapandian,Vice-Chairman Dr Mohammed Faizal, Hon.Assistant Secretary  Ranjini Mohan,EC Members  Bonny Joseph, Mithun Mohan,Biju George,Mohammad Nayaz Ullah, Principal VR Palaniswamy, Junior Wing Principal Pamela Xavier, Staff Representative Parvathi Devadas ,Vice-Principals, Head Teachers and staff members.  


ISB Hon.Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese in his presidential address congratulated the award winning students for their dedication and hard work which helped them to attain this excellence.  He highlighted the future developments and construction of better infrastructure facilities especially for the welfare of girl students. Moreover, he added that parents have wholeheartedly welcomed the  newly introduced online fee payment system for the school. Adv.Binu Mannil presented a memento to the chief guest Reem Abodh Al Sanaei.
Principal VR Palaniswamy welcomed the gathering and congratulated the students for the consistency they maintained in academics throughout the years and also reminded them to continue the same with the support of their parents and teachers. NEP 2020 has focused on revolutionary changes in school as well as the higher education system by incorporating skill based and project based education which enables the students to be more productive and creative,he added. The vote of thanks was proposed by Hon.Secretary V Rajapandian  who congratulated the students saying that their hard work and preparation had paid off.
A variety of cultural programmes added more hues to the function including group song, invocation dance and arabic dance. Highly enthusiastic team of teachers and MCs Zainab Ali and Yedu Nandan did a commendable work making the event an exceptional one. Earlier the function commenced   with the National Anthem  of Bahrain and  India  and the  verses from the Holy Quran. The school choir maintained the ambience with the school prayer. A1 Awards were distributed to the students by the Chief guest and the school officials.
