The Indian School Celebrates Earth Day

 The Indian School commemorated Earth Day with a diverse array of programmes centered around the theme 'save trees, save earth.' The Middle Section classes organized assemblies to mark the occasion. Aaradhya Remeshan from class 5F and Aditi Sajith from class 7A delivered stirring speeches, inspiring their peers. Additionally, students from grades 4 and 5 presented a captivating skit highlighting the significance of nature and cautioning against the detrimental effects of exploiting it for human desires. The role of masters of ceremony was executed by Preet Mehul Aadesariya of 5D, Hannah Menezes of 5E, Gourinanda Krishnadas and Reona Milton Sequeira from class 7A.Students of class 7 presented fusion dance.  Placards and charts adorned with messages related to environmental conservation were displayed by the children. Vice-Principal-Middle Section Jose Thomas, Head Teachers Sreeja Pramod Das (VI-VIII) and  Annly Joseph (IV-V) addressed the students, stressing the importance of preserving natural resources.  Academic Administration Vice-Principal G Satheesh attended. Furthermore, students from classes 6, 7, and 8 showcased posters advocating for the protection of natural resources. ISB Honorary Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese, Honorary Secretary V Rajapandian, and Principal VR Palaniswamy lauded the students for their enthusiastic participation in Earth Day activities and teachers for motivating the children.
