The Indian School Celebrates Maths Day 2024
The Indian School celebrated Maths Day on Thursday, May 9, 2024, showcasing a vibrant array of intra and inter-school events. These included the Maths Talent Search Exam (MTSE), Model Making, Working Model, Display Board competitions, Inter-school Quiz, and Inter-school symposium. The participation from schools like Asian School, Bahrain Indian School, Ibn Al Hytham Islamic School, New Indian School, Al- Noor International School and New Millennium School alongside the host school, added fervor to the festivities. Approximately 1300 students participated in the MTSE exams and around 500 students engaged in various model-making competitions. ISB Honorary Assistant Secretary Ranjini Mohan distributed the prizes in the finale. Principal VR Palaniswamy, Staff Representative Parvathi Devadas, Vice-Principal Senior Section and Academic Administration G Satheesh, Vice-Principal Middle Section Jose Thomas and other staff members attended. The event showcased outstanding talent across various categories, with winners emerging from different classes in model-making, working model contests, and the MTSE. Additionally, the inter-school quiz and symposium provided platforms for intellectual exchange and collaboration among students from different institutions. An exhibition of the models made by the students was also organized on the occasion. Mathematics HoD Bijo Thomas coordinated the programme alongside the dedicated efforts of the faculty. The winners of the various competitions showcased remarkable talent across different categories. ISB Hon.Chairman Adv.Binu Mannil Varughese, Hon.Secretary V Rajapandian,EC Members and Principal VR Palaniswamy congratulated the students for their active participation and teachers for motivating the students in making the Maths Day a grand success.
