The Indian School celebrates Technofest 2024

 The Indian School Bahrain (ISB) celebrated the 20th annual Technofest to commemorate the Indian National Science and Technology Day in Isa Town campus on Wednesday, May 22, 2024. Students from grade 6 to 12 took part in the various inter and intra school activities to showcase their talents and creativity. Six CBSE curriculum schools including the host school participated in the symposium on ‘Computational Neuroscience’, On the Spot Model Making Contest and Science and Technology Quiz. The intra-school events included competitions in Display Board  for standard 6 to 8, Digital Poster Making on different themes for standard 9 to 12 and Working Model Making for standard 9 and 10 which enhanced the artistic and intellectual quotient of the students through creative outlook. A large number of students of classes 9 to 12 participated in these events with extreme enthusiasm and involvement.

ISB Hon.Vice-Chairman Dr Mohammed Faizal, Hon.Asst.Secretary and EC Member-Academics Ranjini Mohan, Hon.EC Member-Finance &IT Bonny Joseph,Hon.EC Member-Transport Mohammad Nayaz Ullah, Hon.Member Biju George, Staff Representative Parvathi Devadas, Vice-Principal Academic Administration Satheesh G,Vice-Principal Middle Section Jose Thomas,Vice-Principal Junior Wing Priya Laji,Heads of Departments Manogaran Loganathan (Physics),Rajasree Karanavar (Chemistry),Sudeepa Ghosh (Biology) and Pius Mathew (Computer Science) attended the finale along with Head Teachers and  teachers in-charge from participating schools. The awards to winning participants were distributed  by the dignitaries. Judges were presented mementos for their contribution. The event left a lasting impression on the students, who were immersed in a day filled with scientific thoughts and activities. ISB students played a crucial role in managing the entire function under the guidance of the science faculty members. ISB Hon.Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese, Hon. Secretary V. Rajapandian, EC Members, and Principal VR Palaniswamy congratulated the winners and appreciated the enthusiastic participation of students and teachers in the programme.
