Mothercare ISB APJ Inter-Junior School Science Quest: Season 5
Eighteen teams have advanced to the semi-finals of the fifth season of the Mothercare ISB APJ Inter-Junior School Science Quest. The highly anticipated preliminary round took place on September 28, 2024, at the ISB Junior wing auditorium, setting the stage for an exciting competition. The preliminary round witnessed 37 teams representing 13 schools across the island, all vying for a chance to progress. The participants exhibited remarkable energy and enthusiasm, showcasing their scientific knowledge, problem-solving skills, and teamwork abilities. The quiz focused on Science,nature and technology as well as general knowledge related to environmental science, children's literature,current affairs,happenings,sports and a mixed bag of spelling bee,comics,lateral thinking,people and places. The pre-final rounds are scheduled for Saturday,October 5, with the final event to follow on October 18.
This annual quest aims to cultivate a passion for science among young minds from various schools, providing a platform for intellectual challenge and growth. The event was expertly guided by quiz master Sarath Menon, who kept the atmosphere lively and engaging.
ISB Hon.Chairman Adv.Binu Mannil Varughese,Hon.Secretary V Rajapandian,EC members, Principal VR Palaniswamy ,Junior Wing Principal Pamela Xavier and Vice- Principal Priya Laji congratulated the young quizzers for their active participation in the preliminary round.
