The Indian School Wins Mothercare ISB APJ Inter-Junior School Science Quiz
The Indian School emerged victorious at the Mothercare ISB APJ Inter-Junior School Science Quest Season 5, hosted on Friday, October 18, 2024, at the ISB Isa Town campus. The winning duo, Nainika Nanda and Vasudev Priyanath Mohanan Pillai, earned top honours, bringing acclaim to The Indian School. The Asian School secured both the first and second runner-up positions, with Theerth Plavinchottil Rahul and Steven Antony taking the first runner-up spot, while Aniruddh Anup and Aryan Sreeraj Menon claimed second runner-up. Teams from Ibn Al-Hytham Islamic School, New Indian School (NIS), and New Millennium School(NMS) also put up commendable performances, making the event highly competitive. The quiz was skillfully conducted by Quiz Master Sarath Menon in an entertaining and interactive style.

Abhishek Mishra, Mothercare Concept Manager, and Renjith Menon, Regional Head at Macmillan Education, ISB Hon. Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese, Hon. Secretary V Rajapandian, Hon. Vice Chairman and Member HSSE&Sports Mohammed Faizal, Hon. Asst. Secretary & Member-Academics Ranjini Mohan, Hon. Member- Finance & IT Bonny Joseph, Hon. Member-Projects &Maintenance Mithun Mohan, Hon. Member-Transport Mohammad Nayaz Ullah, Principal VR Palaniswamy,Junior Wing Principal Pamela Xavier, Senior School and Academic Administration Vice-Principal G. Satheesh, Junior Wing Vice-Principal Priya Laji, ISB Former Hon.Chairman Prince S Natarajan, community leaders and invited guests attended the ceremony.
The competition reached its peak during the rapid-fire final round, where The Indian School and The Asian School were tied in a dramatic showdown. The participants demonstrated exceptional knowledge and agility in answering questions, resulting in an exciting conclusion.
As the ceremony concluded, the winners were honoured by the dignitaries, and special recognition was given to the Quiz Master Sarath Menon and the mentors who guided the teams. The sponsors, including Macmillan Education and Mothercare, were acknowledged for their vital support in making the event possible.
