The Indian School Celebrates French Day

 The Indian School celebrated its annual French Day ‘La Matinée Française ’with great enthusiasm on October 23,2024. This event showcased the talents of young francophones through various activities, including songs, speeches, and culinary presentations. The programme was inaugurated by ISB Hon. Asst.Secretary and Member-Academics, Ranjini Mohan, who lit the ceremonial lamp. The ceremony was attended by Principal VR Palaniswamy, Senior School and Academic Administration Vice-Principal G. Satheesh, Middle Section Vice-Principal Jose Thomas, Staff Representative Parvathi Devadas, Head Teachers, and French teachers. The celebration unfolded in two phases: stage events and non-stage competitions. In the first phase, non-stage events included a Memory Game for classes 6 to 8, Model Making and   Super Chef contest for classes 9 and 10. Additionally, competitions for speeches and songs highlighted the students' proficiency in the French language.The event concluded with the distribution of trophies and certificates to the winners, celebrating their hard work and dedication to mastering the French language. The day served as a vibrant platform for students to express their skills and love for French culture. ISB Hon. Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese, Hon. Secretary V. Rajapandian, Executive Committee Members, and Principal VR Palaniswamy congratulated the students for their active participation in the events and commended the teachers for organizing the event meticulously.
