Bharat Scouts and Guides Celebrate World Scouts Day and World Thinking Day

  The Indian School Bharat Scouts and Guides wing celebrated World Scouts Day and World Thinking Day with vibrant festivities on Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:45 pm at the Junior Campus. The event, jointly hosted by the Bharat Scouts and Guides units of the Isa Town Campus and Junior Campus, was filled with a series of engaging and inspiring activities.

Distinguished guests ISB Hon. Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese, Hon. Secretary V. Rajapandian, Hon. Asst. Secretary and Member-Academics Ranjini Mohan, Hon. Member-Projects and Maintenance Mithun Mohan, Junior Wing Principal Pamela Xavier, and Junior Wing Vice-Principal Priya Laji graced the occasion. The event began with a warm welcome by the Cubs of the Junior Campus, followed by the ceremonial honouring of guests and an assembly. Hon. Secretary V. Rajapandian hoisted the flag. Hon.Chairman Adv.Binu Mannil Varughese delivered the felicitation address. Scout Master R. Chinnasamy delivered an inspiring speech highlighting the core values of scouting.
The celebration featured several captivating performances, including the action song ‘It’s a Beautiful Day’ and a welcome song by the Bulbuls. Key highlights included a Microgreens Presentation, Penguin Dance, State Procession, and a lively Jungle Book Skit by Cubs and Bulbuls from Isa Town. Junior Wing Principal Pamela Xavier addressed the gathering, followed by a vibrant Arabic Dance performance that added colour to the event.
The event concluded with a felicitation ceremony, where certificates were distributed to the participants. The vote of thanks was delivered by Vijayan Nair, bringing a successful and memorable celebration to a close. This event reflected the spirit of scouting and fostered a sense of unity among the students.
