The Indian School Honours Long-Service Teachers and House Officials

 The Indian School held a long-service awards ceremony at the Jashanmal Auditorium in Isa Town on Saturday. The event, attended by staff members from both the Isa Town Campus and Junior Campus, celebrated the dedicated service of teachers who had served the school for 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 years. Medals and certificates were presented to these distinguished teachers in recognition of their exceptional contributions.

Among those who graced the occasion were Hon. Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese, Hon. Secretary V. Rajapandian, Hon. Assistant Secretary & Hon. Member-Academics Ranjini Mohan, Hon. Member-Projects and Maintenance Mithun Mohan, Hon. Member-Transport Mohammad Nayaz Ullah, Hon. Member Biju George, Principal VR Palaniswamy, Junior Wing Principal Pamela Xavier, Senior School & Academic Administration Vice-Principal G Satheesh, Middle Section Vice-Principal Jose Thomas, Junior Wing Vice-Principal Priya Laji, and Staff Representative Parvathi Devadas.

In his speech, Hon. Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese highlighted the invaluable contribution of the staff, stating that their outstanding service is the foundation of the  institution’s success. He emphasized that the school’s 75-year journey is a testament to the dedication of both teaching and non-teaching staff, whose hard work continues to inspire the community.

Additionally, the school honoured House Officials for their instrumental role in the success of the Indian School Youth Festival, Tarang 2024-2025. Principal VR Palaniswamy welcomed everyone, and Hon. Secretary V. Rajapandian delivered the vote of thanks. The event, which was attended by the awardees and their families, concluded with a lunch, allowing everyone to celebrate the occasion together.
