ISB @ 75 Open Badminton Tournament Concludes in Grand Style

 The Indian School Bahrain (ISB) successfully concluded the ISB @ 75 Junior & Senior Open Badminton Tournament on a high note at its Isa Town campus on Saturday, May 10, 2025. The five-day tournament, held as part of ISB’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, saw an impressive 400 matches, making it one of the largest badminton events in the Kingdom.Sponsored by National Trading House WLL, the tournament brought together top talent from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, with matches held in a knockout format under Badminton World Federation (BWF) rules and officiated by certified umpires. In the Men’s Doubles - Elite Category, Michael Otega Onwe and Muhammad Ashik PS emerged as the champions, while Mohammed Obaid and Ali Ahmed Obaid finished as runners-up.

The valedictory function was graced by National Trading House Managing Director   Dileep C. Thaker and Bahrain National Badminton Team Coach   Ahmed Al Jallad as chief guests. Hon. Chairman Adv. Natarajan, who applauded the players and organizers for making the event a resounding success. Hon.Secretary V Rajapandian gave vote of thanks.
