ISB Junior Campus Marks Grand Annual Day with Cultural Splendour

 The Indian School Junior Campus celebrated its Annual Day with great enthusiasm and joy on Saturday, 14 February 2026. The event, themed “Bandhan – Celebrating Bahrain and India,” beautifully highlighted the spirit of unity, cultural harmony, and shared values between the two nations. The programme stood as a vibrant showcase of talent, creativity, and teamwork, creating an atmosphere filled with pride and excitement.

The function was graced by the presence of the school’s distinguished dignitaries, including Hon. Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese, Hon. Vice-Chairman & Hon. Member HSSE and Sports Dr. Mohammed Faizal, Hon. Assistant Secretary &Hon. Member-Academics Ranjini Mohan, Hon. Member (Finance & IT) Bonny Joseph, Principal VR Palaniswamy, Junior Wing Principal Pamela Xavier, Senior School& Academic Administration Vice-Principal G. Satheesh, and Junior Wing Vice-Principal Priya Laji.

In his presidential address, Hon. Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese commended the students for their dedication and spirited participation. He emphasised that true success lies not merely in winning but in participating wholeheartedly and giving one’s best. His words reinforced the importance of effort, discipline, and teamwork in a child’s holistic development.

The felicitation address was delivered by Hon. Assistant Secretary Ranjini Mohan, who appreciated the Junior Campus team for their remarkable efforts and outstanding performances. She also acknowledged the consistent support and guidance provided by the teachers and mentors, whose dedication played a vital role in the success of the event.

Earlier, welcoming the gathering, Junior Campus Principal Pamela Xavier expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the students, parents, and staff for their continuous encouragement, cooperation, and commitment. She highlighted the significance of such platforms in nurturing confidence, creativity, and cultural awareness among young learners.The cultural segment of the programme featured a series of captivating performances by students from the primary and kindergarten sections. Through colourful costumes, expressive movements, and lively presentations, the young performers enthralled the audience and reflected the essence of the theme. Their confidence, enthusiasm, and stage presence were widely appreciated.

The event was seamlessly anchored by the Masters of Ceremonies—Ayesha Fatima, Hamdhi Ahyan Koodakkadan, Saketh Anilkumar, Mariano Alex Rajoy, Ayesha Zehraa, and Joanna Mary Shijin—who ensured the smooth flow of the programme.

The celebration concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Head Boy Fabyon Franco Francis and Head Girl Lakshitha Rohit. The Junior Campus Annual Day 2026 concluded as a grand success, leaving the audience with cherished memories of creativity, collaboration, and joyful celebration.
