The Indian School holds Scouts and Guides Annual Training Camp
The Indian School Bahrain (ISB) organized the Annual Training Camp of the Bharat Scouts and Guides at the Riffa Campus on September 30, 2023.The camp was for the Pratham Sopan and Dwitiya Sopan Scouts and Guides. ISB Hon. Chairman Prince S Natarajan, Executive Committee member and Director of Scouts and Guides Rajesh Nambiar, Binu Mannil Varughese, Mohammed Nayaz Ullah, Principal and President of The Bharat Scouts and Guides VR Palaniswamy, Riffa campus Principal Pamela Xavier and Vice-Principals of Isa Town campus attended the ceremony.
The annual camp aims to inculcate practical knowledge to students and to enhance their overall development.78 Scouts and Guides from Pratham Sopan and Dwitiya Sopan attended the camp. They actively participated in various camp programs like patrol inspection, first aid, pioneering, spare time activities like salad and sandwich making, cycling, BP exercise, camp games, campfire etc.
The training was conducted by a team of 14 teachers under Camp Chief Chinnasamy R . The students actively participated in the camp with excitement and enthusiasm. Certificates were distributed to the participants at the end of the camp by Vinod S, Vice Principal and the Vice President of The Bharat Scouts and Guides.
ISB Hon. Chairman Prince S Natarajan, Hon Secretary Saji Antony, EC Member Sports Rajesh MN, Principal VR Palaniswamy, Riffa Campus Principal Pamela Xavier appreciated the students for their active participation in the scouts and guides movement, which contributes to the development of students in achieving their full physical, social, and spiritual potentials.
