In a remarkable display of educational excellence, officials from The Indian School Bahrain (ISB) gathered today for a press conference to highlight the outstanding achievements the school has accomplished over the past nine years. ISB Hon. Chairman Prince S Natarajan, Hon. Secretary Saji Antony, Hon. Vice-Chairman  Jayafar Maidani, Hon. EC Members Binu Mannil Varughese, Rajesh MN, Premalatha NS, Ajayakrishnan V, Principal VR Palaniswamy, Riffa Campus Principal Pamela Xavier and  Staff Representative Johnson K Devassy attended the press conference.
The Indian School Bahrain (ISB) is pleased to announce its Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) and the election of the Executive Committee for the term 2023-2026. The event will take place at the Isa Town campus on Friday, December 8, 2023. Members are urged to participate in the meeting, which will play a crucial role in shaping the school's future.
Nominations for the election of seven members to the Executive Committee for the term 2023-2026 are invited from parents.  The AGM will be conducted on Friday, December 8, at the campus followed by voting  from 9 am to 7 pm. Counting of votes will start from 8pm on the same day.  The election will be overseen by appointed returning officers: Adv. Valliaveettil Kurian Thomas, Mohamed Ghouse Mohamed Saleem, and Aneesh Azhickal Sreedharan. Staff representative elections will be held on Thursday, December 7, from 8 am to 1 pm. Biju Vasudevan Asari has been appointed as the staff liaison officer. The school has   a faculty comprising 627 staff members dedicated to the education and well-being of a vibrant student body, which numbers 11,700.  
The ISB is proud to announce a series of significant enhancements and achievements, underscoring its commitment to providing a cutting-edge learning environment. The school has entered into a Solar Power Purchase agreement, a strategic move set to substantially reduce electricity consumption across both campuses without imposing any financial burden on the school.   The entire school campus now boasts Wi-Fi connectivity, fostering a digitally enriched educational atmosphere.   The MP Hall has undergone a remarkable transformation, featuring four new badminton courts, LED screen display, and an   installation of an advanced sound system.   The school ground has been refurbished with asphalt, while the walkways and toilet facilities have been renovated.   The school has been selected as the NEET exam center, further solidifying its commitment to facilitating competitive examinations.  Demonstrating a commitment to social responsibility, the school will provide financial support to needy students. The staff members will receive a well-deserved increment, recognizing their dedication and contributions. The school proudly celebrates nine consecutive years of continuous academic achievements, showcasing the dedication to educational excellence. The school pioneers in education by introducing Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data science as subjects, preparing students for the future.   The school is expanding extracurricular opportunities with the re-introduction of scouts and guides, and a robotic club and a space club also is planned. Emphasizing the role of the mother tongues, more regional languages have been introduced in the curriculum. Several classrooms in the Riffa campus are now equipped with state-of-the-art Smart TV facilities, enhancing the learning experience for students.
The school has a long and proud history of academic excellence. Over the past nine years, the school has continued to achieve remarkable results in a variety of areas, including academics, sports, and the arts. As an ISO 9001: 2015 certified institution, the ISB takes pride in its exceptional academic achievements in the CBSE Class X and XII exams.
