ISB Riffa Campus Celebrates Children's Day

The Indian School Bahrain (ISB) Riffa campus reverberated with joy and exuberance as it celebrated Children's Day under the theme 'One World One Family.' The event, aimed at instilling 21st-century learning skills of Global Citizenship among the young minds, unfolded with the mantra of 'Children for Children.' The festivities centered on the concept of fostering unity and harmony, encapsulated in the theme that transcended borders.

The celebration kicked off with a heartwarming inauguration, and from there, students took the lead, steering the event with enthusiasm. Classes 1, 2, and 3 showcased their teamwork through stellar performances adorned with dazzling costumes and catchy tunes. The audience was treated to a virtual globe-trotting experience, from the pulsating beats of Africa to the rhythmic allure of Latino Salsa, and the captivating display of Asian Martial arts. The rich heritage of the sub-continent was also celebrated, creating a vibrant tapestry of cultural diversity.

The campus echoed with the energetic voices of students as they passionately rehearsed for the Kiddies Fiesta, infusing every nook and corner of the school with their dedication and talent. Principal Pamela Xavier commended each student's achievements, expressing her joy that they had the opportunity to participate and take away valuable learning experiences. She lauded the colorful and vibrant performances, extending her gratitude to the dedicated staff, supportive parents, and the enthusiastic students who collectively made the event a resounding success.

The Children's Day celebrations, commemorating the birth anniversary of India's first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, embraced a variety of joyous events and activities. Assemblies, storytelling sessions, greeting card designing, and face painting added to the festive atmosphere, with kindergartners particularly enchanted by the artistic expressions on display.

ISB Honorary Chairman Prince S Natarajan, along with Honorary Secretary Saji Antony and members of the Executive Committee, extended heartfelt congratulations to the students for their brilliant display of talents and skills. The event not only celebrated the spirit of childhood but also fostered a sense of unity and camaraderie, embodying the vision of 'One World One Family.'
