The Indian School Inducts New Student Leaders

 The investiture ceremony of The Indian School Bahrain (ISB) Prefectorial Council for the academic year 2024-2025 took place at the Jashanmal Auditorium on Saturday, May 25, 2024.    Hon. Chairman Adv.Binu Mannil varughese, Hon. Secretary V Rajapandian, Hon. Asst. Secretary & Hon. Member - Academics Ranjini Mohan, Hon. Member- Finance & IT Bonny Joseph,  Principal VR Palaniswamy,  Staff Representative Parvathi Devadas, Vice-Principal Academic Administration G Satheesh, Vice-Principal Middle Section Jose Thomas and Head Teachers  attended the ceremony. They pinned the badges to the student leaders.
 Shan Diamond Louis and Abigail Ellis Shibu were appointed as the Head Boy and Head Girl respectively for Level A, comprising classes XI and XII. For Level B, encompassing classes X and IX, Joel Shaiju and Evana Rachel Binu assumed the roles of Head Boy and Head Girl. Muhammad Adnan and Shriya Suresh were designated as the Head Boy and Head Girl of Level C, representing classes VI to VIII. Alvin Kunhiparambath and Sree Lakshmi Gayathri Rajeev were appointed as the Head Boy and Head Girl of Level D, representing classes IV and V. These students were chosen based on their demonstrated organizational and leadership skills during interviews.
Hon.Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese emphasized the Prefect Council's role as a platform for fostering interaction between the teaching and student communities. He urged the council members to uphold their responsibilities with a spirit of teamwork and grace, leading by example.
Hon.Secretary V. Rajapandian highlighted the student council's purpose in nurturing leadership skills through organizing school activities and service projects. Principal VR Palaniswamy stressed the significance of providing students with leadership experiences, enabling them to develop teamwork, define identities, and accomplish tasks effectively.
Head Boy Shan Diamond Louis and the Head Girl Abigail Ellis Shibu said: ‘ We believe that with our collective effort and determination, we can make The Indian School, a place where every student is empowered to reach their full potential.Let’s us march forward towards the responsibility, bestowed upon us as the Prefectorial Council of the school with dedication, dignity, proactivity, and with a heart full of hope. ’
