ISB Junior Wing holds Investiture Ceremony

 The Indian School Junior Wing held the investiture ceremony, marking the enthusiastic induction of the new student council members for the academic year 2024-25, at its  campus on Monday,  May 27, 2024  with great grandeur and decorum.
The ceremony witnessed the induction of the newly elected Student Council, comprising 27 members, including Head Boy, Jeff George and Head Girl, Noora Rahmathali, Asst.Head Boy, Lakshith Sreenivas, Asst. Head Girl, Joan Cijo, Eco Ambassador, Sanvika Rajesh and other prefects.
ISB Hon. Assistant Secretary & Hon . Member Academics  Ranjini Mohan,  Hon.  Member- Transport   Mohammad Nayaz Ullah inducted the leadership team. They lit the traditional lamp in the presence of   Principal Pamela Xavier,  Vice- Principal Priya Laji, Head Teachers and  coordinators.  Ranjini Mohan and Mohammed Nayaz Ullah  adorned the Prefect Council members with badges and sashes. This was followed by the oath of office administered by the principal. The members of the students  council formally pledged to execute their responsibilities with dedication and efficiency in the presence of invited dignitaries, peers, and teachers.
Earlier   Principal Pamela Xavier   welcomed the dignitaries and delivered the inaugural address. She encouraged the young leaders to lead the path by example and collaborate closely with their fellow students. The programme commenced with the rendition of the national anthems of Bahrain and India, followed by recitals from the Holy Quran and the rendering of the school song  by the grade 3 students.  The newly appointed Eco Ambassador championed the establishment and implementation of waste management programmes, educating her fellow friends on the significance of recycling and waste reduction.
The ceremony  was seamlessly conducted by the student emcees of grade 3 and concluded with a vote of thanks by the Head Boy and the Head Girl. ISB Hon. Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese, Hon. Secretary V. Rajapandian, EC members, Principal VR Palaniswamy  and Junior Wing Principal Pamela Xavier congratulated Team Riffa for highlighting the vital role of Prefects in upholding the school's reputation and pride.
