The Indian School gears up for grand debut of Aalekh’24:

 The ISB is  getting huge response from schools in the Kingdom as Aalekh’24, one of the Kingdom's most prestigious painting competitions, prepares to make its grand debut on Friday, June 14, 2024. Hosted by The Indian School at its Isa Town campus, this event is already capturing the imaginations of young artists and schools across the region. With an overwhelming response, nearly 1000 students have already registered, and organizers are expecting up to 2500 participants, including both students and adult artists.

The school, having secured the necessary approvals from the Ministry of Education(MoE), is all set to transform this event into a hallmark of artistic celebration. Various companies have eagerly stepped in as sponsors, showcasing their commitment to corporate social responsibility. Parents are urged to encourage their children to join in this vibrant competition. With participants spanning the ages of 5 to 18, the competition promises diverse and inclusive artistic expression through various age-appropriate categories. Registration is free, and schools are encouraged to nominate any number of students, ensuring wide-reaching participation and inclusivity. The last day for registration is  June 10, 2024.  A highlight of Aalekh’24 is the group painting event, ‘Harmony,’ which invites school teams to collaborate on acrylic paintings on canvas. This unique feature fosters teamwork and collective creativity among students aged 12-18 years.
Aalekh’24 symbolizes a significant milestone in The Indian School's dedication to fostering creativity and the arts within the community. The event is poised to become an annual celebration, offering a dynamic platform for artists of all ages to exhibit their talent, creativity, and passion,said  ISB Hon. Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese, Hon. Secretary V Rajapandian, and Principal VR Palaniswamy.
The day will begin with registration and briefing sessions, followed by dedicated drawing and painting periods for each age group. The culmination of this artistic journey will be celebrated with an award ceremony where winners will be announced, and selected artworks will be exhibited at the school fair.
Aalekh’24 is set to be a vibrant and enriching celebration of artistic talent and cultural diversity.
