
The Indian School Bahrain (ISB) celebrated India’s 78th Independence Day
The Indian School Bahrain (ISB) celebrated India’s 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit on Thursday, August 15, 2024. The event was held at the Isa Town Campus in the presence of ISB Honorary Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese, Honorary Secretary V. Rajapandian, Executive Committee Member-Transport Mohammad Nayaz Ullah, Principal Pamela Xavier, as well as parents and staff from both campuses.
The celebration commenced with the unfurling of the Indian national flag by Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese, followed by the singing of the national anthem. In his presidential address, Adv. Bunu Mannil Varughese highlighted the overwhelming public support received for the ‘Viksit Bharat’ initiative and emphasized the importance of remembering the sacrifices made for freedom. He highlighted the goal of fostering a strong sense of national pride and duty among students through such celebrations, striving for a brighter future for the next generation.
The event was a resounding success, reflecting The Indian School’s commitment to quality education and its dedication to instilling the values of patriotism and unity.
