ISB Tarang stage events to kick off on Thursday (26/9/2024)

 The stage events for The Indian School Youth Festival,‘Tarang 2024,’ will kick off on Thursday evening, September 26, 2024, at 6pm  in the school’s Isa Town campus. With over 4,000 students participating in 120 events, the ISB Youth Festival is among the largest school youth festivals in the Gulf countries. The stage events will run until October 1, culminating in a Grand Finale on a later date, where the prestigious Kalaratna and Kalashri awards, along with group championship awards, will be presented.

For the past two weeks, students have engaged in non-stage events and preliminary competitions for group events, including a recent Essay Writing competition held in four levels, which saw participation from all students in the Isa Town campus. The Indian School operates under a House system, with students divided into Aryabhata, Vikram Sarabhai, JC Bose, and CV Raman, all vying for honours.

ISB Hon. Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese, Hon. Secretary V. Rajapandian, EC Members, and Principal V.R  Palaniswamy congratulated the students for their enthusiastic participation and commended the teachers for their meticulous planning and organization, ensuring a smooth and memorable experience for all students.

 

Results:

 

The first prize in the Level A debate was awarded to Vikram Sarabhai House, with team members Bhavani Menon Pullat (12 K), Aradhya Kanodathil (12 F), and Advaith Ajith Kumar (12 H). The second prize went to Aryabhata House, whose team consisted of Tanmay Rajesh (12 J), Ashtamy Sankar (12 L), and Sreya Manoj (12 A).

 

In the Level B debate, the first prize was awarded to Vikram Sarabhai House, with team members Chriswin Brawin (9 J), Alen Eapen Thomas (9 B), and Abhinav Binu (10 R). The second prize went to CV Raman House, whose team included Adith Rajul (10 E), Alan Basil Bino (10 W), and Mohammed Rehan Anvar (10 B).

 

In the Level C debate, the first prize was awarded to Vikram Sarabhai House, with team members Nile Nas (8 G), Deepanshi Gopal (7 K), and Sai Parinita Sathish Kumar (8 I). The second prize went to CV Raman House, whose team included Muhammad Adnan Eranchikkal (8 G), Saanvi Chowdary (6 Q), and Siddharth MB(6 E).

 

In the Level A quiz competition, the first prize was awarded to CV Raman House, whose team comprised Amit Devan (12 M), Joel Joseph (12 I), and Florenza Angel Pereira (11 Q). The second prize went to Aryabhata House, featuring team members Navani Smiju (12 K),Mohit Sethi (12F) and Ahmed Abdur Raheem Faruqi (12 H).

 

In the Level B quiz competition, the first prize was awarded to Aryabhata House, whose team comprised Rohin Ranjith (10 V), Niranjan V Iyer (10 E), and Ankit Vikrambhai (10 B). The second prize went to Vikram Sarabhai House, featuring team members Muhammed Shammas (10 V),Gokul Das (9 C) and Raiza Sabreen (10 G).

 

In the Level C quiz competition, the first prize was awarded to CV Raman House, whose team comprised Avani Sudheesh Divya (8 S), Advika Siju (6 H), and Saanvi Chowdary (6 Q). The second prize went to Vikram Sarabhai House, featuring team members Nile Nas (8 G),Mehreen Fayaz (8 K) and Adarsh Ramesh (7 F).

 

In the Level D quiz competition, the first prize was awarded to Vikram Sarabhai House, whose team comprised Punya Shaji (4 G), Ishan Krishna (5 I), and Amritha Suresh (5 S). The second prize went to CV Raman House, featuring team members Fyon Franco Francis (5 L),Jameul Islam (5 A) and Saharsh Gupta (5 A).
