The Indian School Gears Up for Annual Cultural Fair 2024

After a gap of two years, the ISB Annual Cultural Fair 2024, presented by Star Vision Events and Powered by LuLu will take place at the Indian School grounds in Isa Town on December 19 and 20. The main objective of the fair is to provide students with an opportunity to showcase their artistic talents through performances and to experience the performances of professional artists from India.
The first day of the fair will feature a musical program from South India, led by actor and singer Vineeth Sreenivasan, while the second day will focus on North Indian cultural performances, led by musician and singer Twinkle Dipan Kar. The fair will also feature a variety of exciting game stalls, offering fun challenges while enjoying the lively atmosphere of the event. The program will be held from 6:00pm to 11:pm on both days.
An elaborate organizing committee has been formed to ensure the success of the fair. The 501-member committee comprises parents, teachers, and community leaders. The organizing committee is led by General Convener Vipin Kumar and includes the school executive committee and representatives of various organizations. Under the guidance of the General Convener, separate sub- committees have been formed led by conveners, coordinators and teachers who will work together to make the fair a success. Arrangements have been made for food stalls from the reputed caterers having outdoor catering licenses and approval from the concerned ministries.  The school fair will offer a variety of cuisine from Bahrain and various states of India.
Above 11,900 students from different nationalities are studying at the Indian School. The school fair is organized to support both students and staff and for infrastructural development. As a community school, the ISB believes it is the responsibility of the school to support the needy students to continue their education. The school has received an excellent response for stall bookings at the fair.  As part of the fair, a students' art exhibition will provide a new experience for visitors.
Parking facilities will be available at the National Stadium near the Indian School, with a shuttle bus service available to the stadium from the school campus on the days of the fair. The school football ground will host entertainment and related stalls, while food and commercial stalls will be arranged at the athletic ground. Various entertainment programs and game stalls for children will be located in the Jashanmal Auditorium. The annual fair will be a carnival for families to enjoy a wide range of entertainment activities. The fair and its premises will be under CCTV surveillance and security cover. Both the  grounds will have big LED displays for visitors to watch the programme.
With an entry fee of BD2, the Annual Fair will include a wide array of cultural performances designed for families to enjoy together. “We request you to kindly extend your support and cooperation for this noble cause of promoting quality education in our community school. We are confident that the ISB Annual Cultural Fair 2024 will be a grand success with the community’s wholehearted support and cooperation,” said ISB Hon. Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese.
The school is excited to bring together students, families, and the wider community to make this event a resounding success. The last Annual Fair was held in 2022, and the school is looking forward to welcoming visitors once again in 2024 to support this noble cause.
