ISB Gears Up for Platinum Jubilee Edition of Aalekh’25
The Indian School, Bahrain (ISB) established in 1950, is one of the oldest and largest co-educational institutions in the Kingdom of Bahrain. With a proud legacy of academic excellence, cultural inclusivity, and holistic development, the school continues to serve a diverse student community across its two campuses.
As the school celebrates its Platinum Jubilee, marking 75 years of dedicated service to education and community development, it has been organizing a year-long series of events and activities that highlight its rich history, achievements, and vibrant spirit. Among the flagship events of this milestone year is the Platinum Jubilee edition of Aalekh ’25, a highly anticipated inter-school painting competition that brings together creativity, culture, and youthful expression.
Scheduled for April 24 and 25, 2025, Aalekh is set to be the biggest edition yet—bolder, more vibrant, and more inclusive than ever before. This year, the competition will welcome students aged 5 to 18 years, divided into four age groups: Drishya, Varna, Srushti, and Pragna. Participants will use age-appropriate mediums such as crayons, pastels, watercolours, and acrylics to bring their artistic visions to life. With an expected participation of around 3,000 students, Aalekh ’25 is poised to be one of the largest inter-school painting contests in the region.
Hosted at the ISB Isa Town campus, the event is more than just a competition—it is a celebration of artistic expression, cultural exchange, and creative growth. With free registration and open participation for any number of students from each school, Aalekh reflects the school’s unwavering commitment to fostering young talent and promoting the arts across borders.
