The ISB @ 75 Open Badminton Finale on Saturday

 The ISB @ 75 Junior & Senior Open Badminton Tournament, held as part of The Indian School Bahrain’s year-long Platinum Jubilee celebrations, is set to conclude on a high note on Saturday. The valedictory function will be held on Saturday at 8:00pm in the Jashanmal Auditorium.  With 300 matches already completed by Friday, the final rounds promise intense competition and exciting finishes. The tournament has brought together 350 players from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, making it one of the largest badminton events in the Kingdom. The tournament is proudly sponsored by National Trading House WLL. Organized under the sanction of the Bahrain Badminton and Squash Federation (BBSF), the tournament features categories including Boys’ and Girls’ Singles and Doubles in age groups from U9 to U19, Men’s Doubles (Elite, Championship, F1–F5), Women’s Doubles (Levels 1 & 2), and Mixed Doubles (Levels C, 1 & 2). All matches are conducted in a knockout format in accordance with Badminton World Federation (BWF) rules and are officiated by certified umpires.

The event is spearheaded by Hon. Vice Chairman & Hon. Member–Sports Dr. Mohammed Faizal, Tournament Director Binu Pappachan, and Tournament Referee Shanil Abdul Rahim (Badminton Asia), with support from General Convener Adil Ahmed, Coordinator Binoj Mathew, and advisory guidance from former EC Member–Sports Rajesh MN. Winners in each category will receive cash prizes and trophies, while all participants will be awarded digital certificates to recognize their efforts and participation. ISB Hon. Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese, Hon. Secretary V. Rajapandian, EC members, Principal VR Palaniswamy, and Jubilee General Convener Prince S. Natarajan have extended a warm invitation to all sports lovers and community members to join the finale.
