ISB Shines in CBSE Cluster Chess Tournament

 The Indian School, Bahrain (ISB), delivered an outstanding performance in the CBSE School Cluster Chess Tournament 2025, securing notable victories across multiple categories.

The Under-14 Girls’ team emerged as champions, showcasing strategic excellence and remarkable teamwork. The winning team comprised Shasthiga Balamurugan (7I), Janet George (6Y), Dhruvi Panigrahi (8B), and Shanjana Selvaraj (8H).
In the Under-19 Girls’ category, ISB secured the Runner-Up position. The team included Richa Ann Biju (11E), Deepshika Kishore (10P), Uma Eswari (9L), and Jerusha Elizabeth (9R).
The Under-14 Boys’ team also achieved the Runner-Up title with an impressive performance. The players were Pranav Santhosh (7K), Kasinath K. Siljith (7U), Parmesh Suresh (9K), and Atharav Jagtap (8U).
ISB  Hon. Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese, Hon. Secretary  V Rajapandian, Hon. Vice-Chairman and Hon.Member- HSSE & Sports Dr Mohammed Faizal, Executive Committee members, Principal  VR  Palaniswamy and HoD  Sridhar Siva S extended heartfelt congratulations to all participants and coach Saikat Sarkar  for their exceptional efforts and achievements.
