ISB to Celebrate Bahrain National Day with a Record-Breaking Human Flag
As part of its Platinum Jubilee celebrations, The Indian School will commemorate the 54th Bahrain National Day with a grand and meaningful programme at its Riffa Campus at 9am on Monday, 15 December 2025. The event is designed as a tribute to the Kingdom of Bahrain and an expression of gratitude for the unwavering support and encouragement extended to the institution over the past seven and a half decades. The centrepiece of the celebration will be an ambitious human flag formation, involving nearly 3,500 students aimed at securing a place in the Golden Book of World Records. The formation will visually depict the national flag of Bahrain and will stand as a powerful symbol of unity, patriotism, and mutual respect between the school community and the host nation. In addition to the main human flag formation, the ISB will attempt three further record-setting achievements on the same day:
· The largest human depiction of a national flag
· The highest number of people saluting the national flag simultaneously
· The maximum number of participants chanting a slogan in three languages at the same time
A unique and deeply symbolic aspect of this initiative is that the human flag will be formed by primary students with support from staff members. This thoughtful inclusion highlights ISB’s belief in nurturing national pride, civic awareness, and respect for the host country from the earliest stages of a child’s education. The Bahrain National Day celebration also reflects the school’s long-standing connection with the Kingdom.
