ISB Students Bring Laurels with Excellent CBSE Class 12 Results
The Indian School Bahrain (ISB) once again upheld its long-standing tradition of academic excellence by recording an outstanding performance in the CBSE Class XII Examination 2026, the results of which were declared on Wednesday, May 13, 2026. The school achieved an impressive overall pass percentage of 98.09, reaffirming its reputation as one of the leading educational institutions in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The school also achieved a cent per cent pass result in both the Humanities and Commerce streams, demonstrating consistent excellence across disciplines.
The remarkable results reflect the dedication, perseverance, and hard work of the students, teachers, and parents, who together contributed to yet another milestone in the school’s academic journey. A total of 21 students secured A1 grades in all subjects, while 52 students scored 90 per cent and above in the examination. 272 students got 75% and above while 514 students got 60% and above in the exam.
Among the outstanding achievers, Giselle Sharon Fernandes emerged as the overall school topper by securing 97.2 per cent with 486 marks out of 500. Pranavi Manapuram and Anna Binu jointly secured the second position in the school with 96.8 per cent each, scoring 484 out of 500. Cemon Mathew Jolly secured the third position with 96.4 per cent and 482 marks out of 500.
In the Science stream, Anna Binu emerged as the topper with an impressive score of 96.8 per cent. Cemon Mathew Jolly secured the second position with 96.4 per cent, while Alvin George Xavier claimed the third position with 95.6 per cent.
The Commerce stream also witnessed exceptional achievements. Giselle Sharon Fernandes topped the stream with 97.2 per cent. Aditi Sathish Iyer secured the second position with 95.6 per cent, while Rehan Sethmika Kalubowila and Balamani Ayilur Yougesh jointly shared the third position with 95.2 per cent each. The stream’s 100 per cent pass result further underscored the consistent academic standards maintained by the school.
In the Humanities stream, Pranavi Manapuram secured the first position with 96.8 per cent. Anghana Sreejith achieved the second position with 95 per cent, while Christopher Chacko Poovelil stood third with 92.6 per cent. The complete success rate in the Humanities stream reflected the growing interest and academic strength of students in social sciences and liberal arts.
ISB Hon. Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese, Hon. Secretary V. Rajapandian, Hon. Assistant Secretary and Hon. Member Academics Ranjini Mohan, members of the Executive Committee, Principal V.R Palaniswamy, and Senior School and Academic Administration Vice-Principal G.
