ISB students Shine at Bahrain Junior Ranking Circuit 2026

Students of The Indian School, Bahrain (ISB) delivered an impressive performance at the BBSF–Powerjade Junior Bahrain Ranking Circuit 2, held from 29 to 31 May 2026 at Al Nasser Club, Juffair. The tournament, sanctioned by the Bahrain Badminton and Squash Federation (BBSF), attracted some of the most talented junior badminton players from across the Kingdom.

Leading the school's medal haul was Arjun Arunkumar of Class 7, who produced a remarkable display of skill and determination by securing championship titles in four categories. He emerged as the winner in Under-13 Singles, Under-13 Doubles, and Under-15 Doubles, while finishing as the runner-up in the Under-15 Singles category. Arjun has now successfully retained his ranking titles for the second consecutive year, highlighting his consistency and excellence in the sport.

Adding to the school's success, Y. Rama of Class 7 secured the runner-up position in the Under-13 Doubles category. Dheeraj Shyam of Class 8 also achieved distinction by finishing runner-up in the Under-15 Doubles event.

Member-Sports Dr. Mohammed Faizal, Executive Committee Members, Principal VR  Palaniswamy, Senior School &Academic Administration Vice- Principal G Satheesh and Physical Education HoD Sridhar Siva Samiayya congratulated the winners on their remarkable achievements and wished them continued success in future competitions.
