The Indian School Records Outstanding Pass Rate in CBSE Class X Examinations 2026

 The Indian School Bahrain (ISB) has once again reinforced its reputation for academic excellence by delivering an outstanding performance in the CBSE Class X Board Examinations 2026. Of the 860 students who appeared for the examinations, the school achieved an impressive pass percentage of 99.99%, reflecting its continued commitment to academic excellence.

Leading the cohort was Harsh Baberwal, who secured 498 marks out of 500 (99.6%), emerging as the school topper. Deepshika Kishore secured the second position with 493 marks (98.6%), while Durga Neelakandan Kavitha claimed the third position with 492 marks (98.4%).

The school management expressed immense pride in the accomplishments of the students. Hon. Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese, Hon. Secretary V. Rajapandian, Hon. Asst. Secretary and Member–Academics Ranjini Mohan, members of the Executive Committee, and Officiating Principal Pamela Xavier congratulated the students, teachers, and parents on this remarkable achievement.

Congratulating the school community, Hon. Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese stated that the results reflect the school’s enduring pursuit of excellence and the determination of its students. He noted that the achievement highlights the collective efforts of students, teachers, parents, and administrators working together towards a common goal.

Hon. Secretary V. Rajapandian remarked that the impressive performance demonstrates the effectiveness of the school’s academic support systems and the dedication of educators who continually guide and inspire students to achieve their highest potential.

Hon. Asst. Secretary and Member–Academics Ranjini Mohan said that the results reaffirm the school’s vision of nurturing well-rounded learners who excel academically while developing confidence, responsibility, and strong character.

The 2026 academic year marked a significant transition in the CBSE assessment system. In line with the recommendations of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, CBSE introduced two Board Examination opportunities for Class X students. The Main Examination was conducted from 17 February to 11 March 2026, while the Second Examination was held from 15 May to 21 May 2026, providing students with greater flexibility and additional opportunities to demonstrate their academic potential.

  • 187 students (21.7%) secured 90% and above in aggregate.
  • 529 students (61.5%) secured 75% and above in aggregate.
  • 732 students (85.1%) secured 60% and above in aggregate.
