The Indian School Partners with IIT Madras, Expanding Learning Opportunities for Students
The Indian School Bahrain (ISB) has achieved another significant milestone in its continuing journey of academic excellence by becoming a Partner School of the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) through its prestigious School Connect Programme.
The partnership marks an important step forward in ISB’s commitment to providing its students with meaningful exposure to emerging fields of knowledge, advanced learning opportunities and the expertise of leading institutions. Through the School Connect Programme, students of Classes IX to XII will have access to a range of courses, academic resources, mentorship opportunities and expert guidance from IIT Madras.
More than 380 ISB students have already enrolled in the programme, reflecting the enthusiasm of the student community to explore new areas of learning and prepare themselves for the rapidly evolving demands of higher education and the professional world.
The initiative is particularly significant as it enables students to benefit from the academic ecosystem of one of India’s premier institutions while continuing their school education in Bahrain. It will provide opportunities for students to develop their knowledge and skills in areas that complement the school curriculum and encourage curiosity, innovation, critical thinking and a future-oriented approach to learning.
The partnership also reinforces the school’s vision of extending educational opportunities beyond the traditional classroom and connecting its students with reputed institutions and global academic platforms. As the school celebrates its 75-year legacy of excellence in education, the association with IIT Madras adds another significant chapter to its journey.
